Shipping Policy

Delivery Service

When placing an order, the customer can enter the desired shipping address. This may differ from the billing address. The following shipping options are generally available:

• Delivery to the address of your choice

• Delivery to an existing Bijou les Boutiques store

Items delivered to a Bijou les Boutiques store must be picked up within 10 calendar days. Ordered merchandise that is not picked up within 10 calendar days will be returned to the central warehouse. The order will be canceled.

When picking up your order, please note the respective store hours.

Delivery Time

Delivery to a residential address within Switzerland or to a Bijou les Boutiques store typically takes 2–4 business days from the time the order is placed. Depending on the product and circumstances, delivery may be delayed.

Payment Method

The price stated on the order confirmation will be billed. The list of accepted payment methods is subject to change. Accepted payment methods are those currently available and selectable in the online store, which include real-time payment methods (credit card, TWINT, Postfinance). Gift cards cannot be redeemed online.

Real-time payment methods

Gygax Retail AG does not store customers' credit card information. The data stored by Gygax Retail AG serves solely as proof of the transaction between the customer and Gygax Retail AG.

Prices

All prices are listed in CHF, including VAT.

Not included are any shipping costs of CHF 4.90 for orders under CHF 80.00. For large pieces of furniture, a flat-rate transportation fee of CHF 0.60 per kilometer (from Sutz) and CHF 50.00 per hour per driver applies. These costs will be billed separately. Payment for all orders is accepted exclusively in Swiss francs. Gygax Retail AG reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, the prices valid on the order date and listed on the order confirmation always apply to the products ordered by the customer, unless there is an obvious error.

Order Confirmation

Every order and every change will be confirmed to the customer via email. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions and the prices listed.

Gygax Retail AG reserves the right to cancel part or all of an order after the automatic order confirmation. In this case, the purchase amount will be refunded to the customer.

Returns

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the merchandise immediately upon delivery and to report any defects or discrepancies from their order. The customer may return defective merchandise, or merchandise that does not fit or is not to their liking, within 14 calendar days without providing a reason. The 14 calendar day period is calculated based on the date the customer receives the package and the postmark date on the return shipment. Returns must be made in the original packaging and include the enclosed return form. Only unworn, clean, undamaged, and complete merchandise, with all tags attached, in the original Bijou les Boutiques packaging will be accepted. Clothing without a Bijou les Boutiques price tag is considered worn and will not be accepted. The customer is responsible for shipping costs in the event of a return. Upon receipt of the merchandise, Gygax Retail AG will inspect the returns and determine whether they are in perfect condition and whether a credit can be issued. The refund will be processed via the same payment method used for the original purchase. Only the value of the merchandise will be refunded. Any shipping costs incurred will not be credited.

All items may be returned within the specified period, provided they have not been used or worn. The customer should keep the proof of postage, as it serves as evidence in the event that the package is lost. Once the return period has expired, the purchase is considered final. Used items, items ordered or custom-made according to specific customer requests, and items without an attached price tag are excluded from the right of return.

In addition, customers are free to return the products they ordered to any of the existing stores. To do so, they must return the item in question in its original Bijou les Boutiques packaging, along with the return form included with the order. The purchase price will be refunded only after the online store receives the returned merchandise at the return address.

Reimbursement

If the customer exercises their right to return an item, the amount charged will be refunded via the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless the conditions listed under “Returns” were not met. For returns shipped from one of our stores, the refund will be processed only after the merchandise has arrived at the return address. This process may take a few days.

Since the online store and physical stores use different point-of-sale systems, cash cannot be dispensed at the physical store.

Shipping Costs

Orders under CHF 80.00 are subject to a shipping fee of CHF 4.90. Shipping is free for orders of CHF 80.00 or more.

Orders placed at a Bijou les Boutiques store always qualify for free shipping.

Bulky items (furniture such as cabinets, shelves, tables, chairs, etc.) can be picked up free of charge at our warehouse located at Hauptstrasse 37 in 2572 Sutz, or delivered to the desired residential address for a flat-rate shipping fee. To calculate the applicable shipping costs, we ask customers to contact us.
