Bijou les Boutiques is transferring its Lausanne location to NILE

Our Bijou Lausanne store is about to undergo a change:
The store will continue to operate under the name Bijou les Boutiques through February 26, 2026. Effective March 1, 2026, we will hand over the business to our long-standing partner company NILE, which will continue to operate the store under its own name. Following a brief renovation period, the store is expected to launch the spring season on March 6, 2026, as the NILE Store Lausanne.

Why take this step?

In the future, Bijou les Boutiques will focus more on brick-and-mortar retail in German-speaking Switzerland and on its online store, while NILE is already well-established in French-speaking Switzerland and operates additional locations there.

What will happen to the team?

"L'équipe Lausanne" will remain unchanged. The staff members you know and appreciate will continue to serve you with warmth and professionalism.

What does this mean for you as a customer?

  • Your Bijou account will remain active. You’ll continue to earn Bijou points on your purchases at all other Bijou stores in Switzerland as well as in our online store, and you’ll enjoy exclusive discounts and member offers.
  • With its reopening at NILE , the store is launching its own loyalty card, the Nilecard. If you already have a Nilecard, it is also valid at the NILE store in Lausanne.

You can still redeem your membership and/or gift card in Lausanne through February 26, 2026. Once we reopen, you’ll only be able to redeem Bijou gift certificates at the other 16 Bijou locations and online at NILE .

No. Once the store reopens in Lausanne, the " NILE" customer loyalty program—the Nilecard—will be used. You can continue to earn Bijou points at all other Bijou locations and online.
